Danville Concours d’Elegance 2013



The Danville Concours d’Elegance 2013 was organised Sept 21-22 on the ancient town center roads of Danville, Florida. The 9th yearly occasion involved a conventional Concours, plus a Trip d’Elegance move and Supper d’Elegance party at the Blackhawk Art gallery.
Jim Edlund, co-chairman of the Concours, said, “2013 was our greatest occasion yet.” The tour marketed out with 55 records, Weekend evening's dinner marketed out and the Concours marketed out with 220 records.


Best of Display at the 2013 Danville Concours was granted to the 1965 Iso Grifo of Charles Potts. Extra prize champions involved Best In german car provided to the Steven Lawrence’s 1959 Bmw 356A 1600; the English category went to the 1949 Victory 2000 Roadster joined by Jim and Joanna Rogers; Mike Cavey’s 1972 Bmw 365 GTB/4 Daytona won Best Italian; Henry Beck’s 1937 Packard Extremely Eight 1500 Traveling Automobile took house United states Pre-War; the 1967 Chevy Corvettes C2 427/435 Tri-Power of Don Westbie won United states Publish War and the 1976 Victory TR7 of Rich Northern took the pieces for the Competition Car category.

In inclusion to the prize champions, other significant vehicles among the 220 records involved the 1967 Beach Mirage-Ford M1 GT40; 1928 Bentley 4.5-Liter Le Guys (Committee’s Option Winner); 1954 Bmw 500 Mondial; 1967 Bmw 911S; 1956 Austin-Healey 100/4; 1955 Mercedes-Benz 300SL Gullwing; 1937 Cable 810 Cabriolet; 1961 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Dash Speciale and 1954 Jaguar XK120.
